Cricket: Bermuda Lose To Hong Kong

Bermuda lost their second game in the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier today [Mar.13] in the United Arab Emirates, with Hong Kong winning by 8 wickets.

Bermuda scored 161/5 in their allotted 20 overs with captain David Hemp the top scorer with 43 from 43 balls, while Janeiro Tucker added 31 from 19 deliveries, Tucker hit two fours and two sixes and was not out when the innings closed.

Dion Stovell scored 29 from 15 balls hitting 5 fours and Kamau Leverock hit 1 four and 2 sixes in his seven ball innings scoring 18 runs. Munir Dar was the pick of the Hong Kong bowlers with figures of 2-33 from 3 overs.

In reply Hong Kong scored 164/2 in 17.3 overs, Jamie Atkinson was their top scorer with 87 not out, Atkinson scored his runs off 55 balls hitting 13 fours and 2 sixes, while Irfan Ahmed scored 50 from 37 deliveries with 6 fours and 2 sixes. Leverock led the Bermuda bowling attack with 1-25, while Tucker took 1-28.
