Cricket: Bermuda Defeat Trinity College

cric130406The Bermuda Cricket Board Select squad defeated Trinity College School from Canada by 67 runs at the Shelly Bay Field yesterday [Apr 6].

Bermuda won the toss and elected to bat, scoring 90/9 in their allotted 30 overs, while Trinity College were bowled all out for 69 runs.

Kyle Swan and Yajni Durham both scored 17 runs, while Jai-Onni Outerbridge and Nzari Paynter both added 11 runs. A. Alvera took 2-10, while Mcdonald took 2-15 and Fong took 2-17 for the Trinity College School.

In reply the Trinity College School were bowled all out for 85, Worrell was their top scorer with 26, while Parris added 15. Chare Smith was the pick of the Bermuda National Academy bowlers taking 3-7, while Jakhari Hollis took 2-10 and Cameron Jeffers took 2-13.

Final score: Bermuda National Academy Select 90/9 Trinity College 85
