  1. Terry says:

How can you plead not guilty to assaulting an officer et al.
maybe liquored up at the time now going to waste the courts time.

  2. Impressive says:

these women are worse than the men nowadays.. I don’t condone any of the actions that took place whether by male or female, however men used to be guided by the compassion of a women or to be specific a women;s reaction to their stupidity. Now it seems these women have lost their more base completely.. rip society

  3. Impressive says:

    moral base!!

  4. Outta order says:

That old allegedly acting the fool, they should make an example of ALL of you. Isn’t that 31yr old girl a bartender at the club? BBCC must be extremely proud of her actions.

  5. swing voter says:

I’m jus glad my kid comes home after work ;-) jeeez I’m jus glad my kid works!

    • logically speaking says:

Are you implying that if you go to a private function in the evening, you don’t work?

  6. NeedsASpankin' says:

And these are our upstanding citizens who give back to the community..by being patrons of an ‘upstanding family oriented club.’

    LOL LOL

    • bun out says:

Nuttin wrong with BBCC. You open ya mouth n s%#t comes out. Shut up

      • Nanny Pat says:

If you are an example of the type of people that hang out at BBCC, then yes, there most certainly is something wrong with BBCC.

    • Outta order says:

Check the bartender all up in d mix!!! Well done BBCC.

      • DreamCatcher says:

What is your point? The bartender is a person too. And stop ragging on the BBCC. They can’t control patrons no more than you can control your friends. Guess your friends never patronize clubs or get in trouble. You are outta order.

  7. Nuffin but da Truth says:

so what do you think you will do if you do see these Officers off duty,

they would kick your a$$ and you know it!

  8. d.o. says:

obstruction of justice in this case is un excusable ( as if they didn’t know the situation liquored up or not ) and they should be dealt with to the fullest extent of the law if found guilty

  9. PLP but not the Government says:

Bermuda is getting more and more insane in their behaviour…..someone is stabbed to death and this is how you carry on. Disgusted to be a Bermudian at times like these.

  10. ML says:

I used to vist bermuda every year, but I am beginning to think maybe it is not so safe anymore. As a tourist and one whos roots (GG grandfather born in Bermuda)are in Bermuda. I am thinking twice about visiting Bermuda again.

    • Tricks are For Kids says:

I guess ML that you reside in Paradise….no crime…everything is perfect…..

  11. Triangle Drifter says:

The judge will shake his finger at them, give them a conditional discharge, which means nothing, & send them on their way. No penalty at all. The cops get no support from the courts.

  12. Next says:

    Ghetto hoodrats.

  13. Faith says:

Another example of human selfishness and the blatent disrespect we have for one another, let alone for those ]of authority’.

Regardless of how police may be viewed by some people (justified or unjustified) it really is no excuse to act in this manner; but especially after something as serious as a stabbing death.

Surely we can be better than this…

  14. Django unchained says:

The problem in Bermuda is no one is held accountable for their actions. And I mean no one. (meaning bad behavior)

  15. Mr. R.C Dill says:

I dont think it has anything to do with whether one of the culprits work at the club or wheter they work in general. They made a misjudgement of wanting to leave when the police would not allow them to. At 2am in the morning you cant leave to go home an i woulod be upset as well. yes it is an investigation and they should have cooperated and not caused a disturbance.

However the culprits do work and are good people that may have made a mistake, have you guys ever made one? Why is everybody on here quick to throw stones and bash someones character. How are they scum? How are they ghetto hoodrats? It was even one culprits birthday. Have you ever done uncharacteristic things on your birthday? I have, and I know you have as well. Guess that makes us scum as well right?

And to the tourist reading these stories. Yeah bermuda has violence. what place doesnt. do we want it here? no we dont, but its here. but on a whole is bda a great place? its a wonderful place. And compared to where most tourist come from its a 100% better.

  16. Mr. R.C Dill says:

100% safer I was meaning to say

  17. North says:

The problem with Bermudians is they take everything at face value without 1.having the FULL story 2.being at the actual scene or 3.Knowing the individuals I was actually at the scene and please believe it wasn’t as clear cut as this story makes it seem. From what I saw the only people disrespecting the young man who lost his life were the police as they allowed 50 plus people stand merely inches away from this young man as he lay dead or dying. No life saving measures took place and from what I saw the police seemed completely clueless as to what they should do. It was a very frustrating situation because you didn’t know if you should help or just leave it in the incapable hands of the police. The yellow crime scene tape went up about an hour after the young man was found lying on the ground. The Police ONLY perked up and decided that they should start doing a job when Mr. Pedro arrived at the scene. As a bystander it was very horrible and sad to watch. Please believe people were more upset at the actions or non-action of the police.

    • M says:

Thanks for clarifying this, I believe you and feel sorry for the ladies who have to listen to and read nonsense from people who have no knowledge of what took place that night. The “Police” aren’t the greatest and leave a lot to be desired way too often.

  18. So True says:

@ North. I beleive you a 100%. But remember this is the only place in the world that is so quick to jump to conclusion and asumptions. I was not there and I am very sad to hear of all the possible rumors which have being going around in regards to this incident. Guaranteed half of the people who is on here commenting probably where not there as well but just quick to run off there mouth. Put your self in each one of these peoples shoes and ask your self how would you have reacted with all the hype and craziness that is occuring in our small Island of paradise. No I don’t condone them cursing or disrespecting the police officers but how we know they where not disrespecting them. But like I said if you where not there like myself we have no right to judge these individuals for ther actions until they are proven guilty.

Also I will like to send my sincere condolence to the Richardson family for the lost of there son, because I myself also have a 22 year old son who will never want to receive a call about something so tragic like this happening. So I will keep this family in my prayers and hope they are able to pull through this tragedy.

I also would like to commend the young man for turning himself in because obvioulsly he knows that there is someone he has to answer to at the end of all this. I will pray for him and his family as well because at the end of the day two families have being affected the Gentleman who passed as well as the person responsible for this cowardly act of violence.

Lets Keep Praying for Island called Home

    One Love

    • Um Jus Sayin says:

@ North and So True. The most sensible comments I have read. Also to the families and friends of both these young men, my sincerest condolences and prayers to you as you go through this difficult time. May God help and guide you through your time of sorrow. May you all find peace.
