Slideshow: Tropical Storm Gabrielle Approaches

Tropical Storm Gabrielle is moving towards Bermuda and its closest point of approach is expected to be approximately 25nm at 1am on Wednesday [Sept 11] according to the Bermuda Weather Service.

The effects of Tropical Storm Gabrielle are being felt across the island with waves crashing on shorelines and 30 mph winds blowing debris about. Some coastal businesses are taking efforts to protect their properties prior to the storm’s landfall. Ongoing updates on the storm, flight cancellations and more can be found here.
