After the eggs were thrown at the bus, the two bus operators subsequently approached the suspects who attempted to flee leaving a short trail of broken eggs on the sidewalk.

A police spokesperson said, “Around 4:45pm on Friday, October 18th police officers were on foot patrol in the vicinity of the City of Hamilton bus terminal when they responded to an incident on Church Street.

“It appears that two students threw eggs at a bus. Apparently two bus operators subsequently approached the suspects, two 15 year old males, who resisted.

“However, both suspects were quickly taken into custody by the responding officers. The two young men have since been released on police bail pending further inquiries.”

Are they wear monitor bracelets? to be sure they’re nowhere near any stores buying eggs…

That’s a relevant inquiry to make…Also, after convicting them give them a large plastic bag and a pair of gloves to pick out of the roadside brush, bottles and cans as well as loose paper.
Just maybe after a year of weekends work like that it can/will not only stop them but others from repeating their behaviors. This can apply to others that can be sentenced to the same type of public services when not having means of paying fine/s As oppose to costing the Public what 70 odd thousand dollars per year to care for,(if they’re put into jail)Prison just may separate a family where one’s needing to be. So, on weekends or one day off from work they can do the “Community Services” instead of not paying their fine or jail time.

oh, we cannot do that, these young men are under age or my son. the courts will deal with this and a few years from now, they will be back in front of the courts again…. Hell yes give them community services for few weeks. this will help to stop them instead of having BDA to pay thousand of dollars to house them in prison. I agree with RR 100%, “Community Services”

If these were my kids they wouldn’t be able to sit down for a week. If they want to act like little brats,I’d give them a good spanking like little brats.
