Photos: Youth Baseball Season Gets Underway

The YAO Baseball Bermuda season got underway this morning [Apr 19] at the Kindley Field diamonds in St David’s. Tee Ball [4-6] started at 9am and was followed with a full slate of games at 10:30am in the Rookie [7-9], Cal Ripken [10-12] and Babe Ruth [13-15] Divisions.

Damian Resnik, President of YAO Baseball Bermuda said, “The fields have never looked better. I cannot thank past YAO Presidents Stef Stecko and David Bedard, enough for their continued support and help in keeping these fields in such great shape.

“Our concession stand will be open this weekend, with a limited menu. If you would like to help out in the concession stand, please contact Dwayne Trott [dtrott@ccs.bm].

“There will be a jumpy castle and a bake sale to support KJ Moreno and his acceptance into Vauxhalls Baseball Academy. Looking forward to seeing everyone out there, where the focus should be playing baseball and cheering everyone on.”
