Junior Golf National Championship Final Results
The sun was bright and the heat was on during the final matches of the 2014 Junior National Championships held today [June 4] at Belmont Hills.
Tournament Director Sergio Edness of EdnessGOLF believes all these kid golfers have tremendous talent and great attitudes and passion for the game. They all carried themselves in great fashion and they all are champions in his eyes.
Championship Flight Division:
Cory DeSilva is the 2014 National Champion defeating Mikus Ming 1 up after 36 holes. It was a tight battle the entire day and both golfers played extremely great golf.
DeSilva had Ming 2 down after the morning 18 holes and fighting Ming faught back to find himself still in the match coming down the last stretch of holes. DeSilva closed out the match on the last hole only winning 1 up.

Championship Flight Division Consolation:
Sam Wehmeyer defeated Joe Waters in the 18 hole final 7 & 6. To take the Championship Consolation final title.
Open Flight Division:
10 year old #1 seed Kenny Leseur defeated #3 seed Tyler Emery to take the Open Flight Division Title. Both golfers played a solid week of golf. Kenny Leseur started the match 10 up from the first 18 holes of the 36 hole final. The match ended on the 6th hole at 13&12 to Kenny Leseur.

Open Flight Division Consolation:
Luke Watson defeated his younger brother Joe Watson in a tight match to take the flights consolation title 1 up after 20 holes.
