Video: Medal Winning Wushu Team Returns
Bermuda’s National Wushu Team returned home last night [Sept 11], following an outstanding showing at the tenth Pan American Wushu Championships in Costa Rica, which saw the team capture five medals, including three gold.
Reyel Bowen, Sentwali Woolridge, and Jermal Woolridge all won gold medals, while Talia Iris captured a silver medal, and Khalid Pitcher earned a bronze, allowing the team to bring home an impressive array of hardware.
Bermuda San Shou Association President Garon Wilkinson praised the team, citing “all around top notch performances by Bermuda’s National Wushu Team,” saying they were “ecstatic” to win the five medals.
