Youtube Star Warns Bermuda About Gonzalo
Bermuda has received warnings and a forecast about the impending arrival of Hurricane Gonzalo from Frankie MacDonald, a popular Canadian YouTuber, who has almost 40,000 subscribers and close to 10 million views.
Mr. MacDonald, who has autism, is considered an internet sensation, and his unique take on the weather has led him to be featured both on American and Canadian newscasts.
In the YouTube description, Mr MacDonald writes, “Hurricane Gonzalo is on its way for Bermuda on Friday October 17, 2014 and it will bring Wind Driven Rain and the Winds will be Gusting Well over 100 MPH in Bermuda and it will bring down Power Lines and Snapping Tree Branches in Half and it will bring Big Waves Crashing the Shores and Beaches in Bermuda and the Track will Turn to North Northeast Direction
“And the Waters are Very Warm and it will bring Hurricane Conditions in Bermuda and it will bring a lot of Rain and People in Bermuda Be Prepared have your Rubber Boots, Rain Coats and Rain Suits Ready and when you go outside don’t walk too far and Stay Away from the Beaches and Don’t Go Near the Shores in Bermuda and when the Hurricane gets in Your Area Get Inside of your House so you can be safe
“And have your Cell Phones Charged, Canned Foods Ready, Bottled Water Ready, Tablets Charged, Laptops Charged, iPods and iPads, Charged and have your Flashlights, Candles, Crank Up Radio, Generators, Battery Operated Lanterns and Extra Batteries Ready and have your Mobile Internet Ready and if you have anybody living in Bermuda Be Prepared for the Hurricane Gonzalo on Friday Take Care and Stay Safe and don’t get caught in the Hurricane Stay Dry and Be Safe.”
While Mr. MacDonald’s concern for us is appreciated, the advice given by our own EMO and local officials should be heeded. For all our coverage of Tropical Storm Fay click here, for all our coverage of Hurricane Gonzalo click here, and for our live blog covering both Gonzalo and Fay click here.

Oh man, s*** just got real.
Thank-You for your concern.
I nominate this guy for head of the EMO….
I would second but will get backlash for lack of Bermudianization.
