Caribbean Basketball: Bermuda In Group B
The draw for the 2015 Caribbean Basketball Confederation [CBC] Championships were held earlier this week in Barbados, with Bermuda drawn in Group B alongside Antigua & Barbuda, Bahamas, Guyana and Suriname.
The 2015 CBC Championships for Women will commence on June 9th – 13th in Tortola, British Virgin Islands and will have the participation of the national teams from Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, British Virgin Islands, Guyana, Jamaica, St. Vincent and the Grenadines and the Virgin Islands.
In addition, the Men Championships will commence on June 16th – 22nd and will have the participation of the national teams from Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands, Guyana, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname and the Virgin Islands.
Results of the Draw for the Women:
- Group A: Antigua & Barbuda, Bahamas, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, Virgin Islands.
- Group B: Barbados, British Virgin Islands, Guyana, Jamaica.
Results of the Draw for the Men:
- Group A: Barbados, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, Virgin Islands.
- Group B: Antigua & Barbuda, Bahamas, Bermuda, Guyana, Suriname.
In the draw, the teams were divided into two groups that will play round -robin within the group. The top two teams from each group will qualify for a semi-final where the 1st place of Group A will play the second place of Group B and vice versa. The winners of the Semi-Finals will advance to the Finals.
