BFRS Supports The Purple Couch Initiative
The Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service [BFRS] is “proudly” supporting the Purple Couch Initiative in conjunction with the Relay For Life Campaign, with both of the ventures supporting cancer research and other related initiatives.
BFRS Spokesperson Sergeant Jamal Albuoy states, “The Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service [BFRS] proudly supports the Purple Couch Initiative in conjunction with the Relay for Life campaign. ”

This is not the first time that the BFRS has supported cancer sufferers, with the entire crew donning pink uniforms in 2013 – a concept thought of by Ms. Hendrickson herself.
