“Living with the Enemy” – new series premieres Thursday, July 9 at 11.00pm on Lifetime

This new reality series tests the idea that opposites attract, and finds it failing. Following in the footsteps of reality shows like “Wife Swap,” the six-part docuseries looks at two women each week who spend eight days living together in spite of their diametrically opposed ideas about life and the world.

Viewers can expect plenty of tears, drama and tension as the two attempt to survive the week.

The series kicks off by pairing “big beautiful woman” Kristy Love with health-and-fitness expert Michel Marley, who find it difficult to be in the same room together without a shouting match.

Other clashes will unfold as the series pairs an overly-attentive ‘helicopter mom’ with a free-spirted parent, a strict vegan with a game hunter, and a same-sex wife with a “traditional marriage” advocate.

“Dr. Jeff, Rocky Mountain Vet” – new series premieres Saturday, July 11 at 11.00pm on Animal Planet

In this new ten-part series, we follow the extraordinary work being done at The Planned Pethood Plus veterinary clinic in Denver, Colorado, run by maverick vet Dr. Jeff Young. The clinic treats more than 80,000 clients and their pets, and for many, Dr. Jeff is the last hope.

The show reveals the lengths to which one man is willing to go, in the emergency room and beyond, as he applies his surgical expertise and animal-centric philosophy to real-life situations that require, speed, compassion and level-headedness.

Dr. Jeff, considered a mircle worker by his clients, is one of the busiest and most respected veterinarians in the US. He is a rock-solid, calming force in the midst of tension and chaos as he and his 30-plus veterinary experts juggle routine pet visits with dozens of daily critical surgeries and emergencies.

As a leading advocate for spaying and neutering, Dr. Jeff has performed more than 165,000 such procedures. He is committed to providing low-cost animal care to all, putting the welfare of the pets before profit.

“White People” – special documentary premieres Wednesday, July 22, at 9.00pm on MTV

This new documentary is part of MTV’s “Look Different” anti-bias campaign. The network teamed up with filmmaker Jose Antonio Vargas to produce a film that takes a close look at how young white people perceive their racial identity in an increasingly multiracial United States.

Says Stephen Friedman, President of MTV, “Whiteness often remains unexamined in conversations about race in this country, even as it acts as the implicit norm against which other racial identities are judged.

“By shining a spotlight on whiteness, we hope “White People” will serve as a powerful conversation starter that encourages our audience to address racial bias through honest, judgment-free dialogue.”
