Photos: BBFS Canada Football Tour Continues

The Bermuda’s Brazilian Football School [BBFS] eighth annual Football Cultural Tour to Canada continued recently, with the group participating in visits to the African Lion Safari and Canada’s Wonderland, shopping, and continued matches.

A spokesperson said, “On day seven, the group visited the African Lion Safari ‎of Guelph and took a guided tour of the park. During the tour we received information various animal species, including lions, lamas, giraffes, bison, baboons, birds of prey, elephants, deer, zebras, and more.

“In the evening, the U14 boys played the U14 Academy ladies of Glen Shields Futbol Club. The boys won 4-1 with Matteo Dill scoring three goals.

“On day eight, the group went shopping for approximately three hours at an outlet mall.”

“The U11 girls/boys played their final tour matches versus the Guelph Football Club. Both teams went down 4-1 after being down 3-0 at the half in their respective games. The second half saw BBFS improve after some tactical adjustments by the coaching staff.

“After the games we returned to the mall for some final purchases.

“On day nine, we arrived safe and sound on Saturday afternoon.‎‎ Yesterday we visited Canada Wonderland ‎and enjoyed a day full of roller coasters, water slides, junk food and lots of sun. The theme park excursion was a great way to close out the tour.

“In the evening we held a barbecue theme dinner ‎consisting of; hamburgers, hot dogs, french fries, corn, salad , sausages, drinks and desert. Dinner ended with closing remarks by the coaches and a presentation to Fred, our first class tour coach driver.”
