A Ministry spokesperson said, “The Commissioner of Corrections, Lt. Col. Eddie Lamb notified the Ministry earlier this evening that following a productive meeting between management and the Prison Officers Association a resolution has been reached regarding the issues raised.

“An Action Plan to address the matters will be put into place and it is expected that officers will return to their normal duties at the Westgate Correctional Facility tomorrow morning.”

Meanwhile, in extending his thanks and appreciation to both sides this evening for bringing the impasse to a conclusion, the Minister of National Security, Sen.
