Bermuda Wins CEA Regional Jumping Challenge

October 17, 2016

The 2016 CEA Regional Jumping Challenge [CEA RJC] came to a successful conclusion recently, with Bermuda riders winning both the Team and Individual categories against the participating Caribbean countries.

This was the first time that Bermuda has competed in the CEA RJC, which is currently in its second year. The competition is unique in that there is no distinction between age and gender; adults and children have the opportunity to compete against each other.

The CEA RJC provides competitors of all ages an opportunity to measure their skills against riders within the Caribbean region. Riders compete in their own countries, over two rounds of a predetermined jumping course at heights of .70m, .85m or 1.00m. The top two scores from each division form the country’s team.
