Sunday January 1st: “Good News” Spotlight
News that Bermuda celebrated in the new year, the island was featured on the Today Show, Ebony Magazine named us as one of the ‘Top 5 Places to Travel in 2017′ saying that Bermuda is a “must visit island escape,” and footballer Zeiko Lewis was invited to the MLS player combine were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
Other good news stories included young singer Terron Webb winning a Calypso Competition in St Kitts, Hamilton Insurance Group donating to various charities, and the St. George’s ice skating rink extending its open dates.
We also posted various community photo galleries, including coverage of the BASA Swimming Camp, youth football, a tennis doubles elimination tournament, and motocross action at Southside.
