Alternate Routes Due To Blackwatch Closure
The Department of Public Transportation is advising of alternate bus routes due to the Blackwatch Pass road closure.
A Government spokesperson said, “The Department of Public Transportation advises the public, that due to Black Watch Pass closing from May 6 – 20, inbound and outbound buses to the City of Hamilton will take alternate routes.
“Inbound buses on route 11 will travel into the city via North Shore Road, Langton Hill, St. Johns Road, Cedar Avenue and Church Street.
“Outbound buses on route 11 will travel out of the city via Cedar Avenue, St. Johns Road, Berkeley Road and North Shore Road onto St. George.
“Inbound route 4 buses will be diverted over Langton Hill.
“The Department of Public Transportation takes this opportunity to apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused.”
