Bermuda Swimmers Win 8 More CCCAN Medals

Day five of the Central American and Caribbean Amateur Confederation [CCCAN] Swimming Championships marked the final day of competition, with Bermuda swimmers claiming eight more medals, taking the island’s overall count to 30.

Bermuda picked up five silver and three bronze on the night, ending the tournament with six gold, 16 silver and eight bronze medals.

During the 15-17 Girls 50m Freestyle Final, Logan Watson-Brown captured the silver medal with a time of 27.10, while Madelyn Moore won silver in the 18 & Over Girls 50m Freestyle when she was clocked in 26.72.

Taylor White won the 13-14 Girls 200m Backstroke silver medal with a time of 2:29.42 and Jack Harvey touched the wall in a time of 2:11.92 in the 15-17 Boys 200m Backstroke.

The Bermuda 11-12 Girls 4×100 Medley Relay team of Imojen Judd, Giada Dudley-Pun, Pippa Charleson and Bella Howes won the silver medal with a time of 4:52.75.

Imojen Judd and Bella Howes finished with bronze when they clocked the third fastest 11-12 Girls 50m Freestyle clocking a time of 28.70.

During the 11-12 Boys 50m Freestyle Final, the team of Harlan Watson-Brown, Rhys Insley, Elijah Daley and Brandon Adkins won the bronze medal with a time of 4:39.62.
