Under 14 Tennis Players Lose To Costa Rica

Bermuda’s Under 14 Boys team concluded the 2020 World Junior Tennis Boys North/Central America & Caribbean Pre-Qualifying Tournament falling 3 – 0 to Costa Rica in the Dominican Republic.

Cooper McGuire went down in the opener 6–2, 7–5 to Nicolas Garnier in a match that took 1 hour and 14 minutes.

In a marathon match that took 2 hours and 25 minutes, Antonio Warner went down in a three set thriller against Javier Araya. Araya won the first set 6-4, but Warner leveled the match at 1 – 1 when he won the second set 6-4. The third and final set saw Araya pick up the win 10-7.

Vincent Boisvert and McGuire took to the court for the Doubles and they went down 7-5, 6-3 to Araya and Diego Castro.
