Albright Promoted: Fairmont Director of Catering

Cathy Albright1Bermudian Cathy Albright has been promoted to the position of Director of Catering at the Fairmont Southampton.

In this position Ms. Albright will manage local weddings and social events. She will also assist with the development and implementation of a catering sales & marketing plans and manage the overall direction and coordination for events and banquets.

Cathy Albright brings over 17 years of experience to the position of Director of Catering. Beginning her career with The Southampton Princess in 1994 as a Group Accountant, she transferred to The Hamilton Princess in 1998 to serve as Convention Manager.

In 1999, Ms. Albright moved to the Elbow Beach Hotel where she held several progressive positions over an 11 year period including; Senior Manager, Sales and Conference Services and Director of Conference Services and Corporate Sales. Cathy Albright re-joined the Fairmont Southampton last year as Operations Manager for Discover Bermuda.

Ms Albright has been recognized by her peers and community as the Elbow Beach Manager of the Year in 2000 and by The Visitor Industry Partnership as Meeting Planner of the Year in 2004.
