Very hard playing so many games in a short period of time. Still believe, however, that this experience will be invaluable as the players develop and play in competitions such as the World Cup qualifiers…

I don’t believe bermuda can compete regionaly and for a fact cant on the world stage. Emphasis should be on securing college scholorships and improvements at the club youth level. At the moment the pool of quality young players are too small and we cant even compete with 4th tier Jersey Express.

That said Maurice Lowe is doing an excellent job as coach.

  2. The Truth says:

World Cup qualifiers they shouldn’t be even thinking about that. At this moment, they couldn’t even beat themselves out of a wet paper bag. Spend money more wisely on youth development etc.

  3. Big D says:

Is this team serious they seem to be getting worse each game. Can’t see the developmental side of this. The team has the worse record in the league.

What should be of concerns that we haven’t seemed to have picked up (and worked on) on any development points. What is this, the Hooges 4th season?

Surely by now we should be able to point to:

    - areas where er have gotten better
    - plans to work on the areas where we can make improvements
    - plans to compensate for inherent deficiencies.

Perhaps putting a team together just prior to the PDL season is a fundamental weakness.

Alternately we may just have to accept that collectively, our players aren’t good enough.
