The Moonlight Bazaar featured a fashion display on Thursday night [Sept.1] at the Moon Nightclub on Front Street, featuring fall fashions from Definitions by Deane showcased by local models.
The fashion line is produced by Anthony Dean Williams, a local fashion designer/dress maker who underwent professional training at The Fashion Institute of Technology and Traphagen School of Fashion.
Mr. Williams describes his work as: “An eclectic amalgam of men’s and women’s custom designs made to order clothing. Ranging from casual and sportswear, through to bridal and evening dresses and gowns.”
Mr Williams said his line consists, “Mainly of draping and ruching; burlaps, silks and satins; twists and ties and kente cloth, and very comfortable relaxed sportswear for women.”
The Moonlight Bazaar is held every other Thursday and features shopping in a market atmosphere while customers are able to lounge and sip drinks. In addition to local clothing and jewellery vendors, local entertainment, beauty therapists are on hand to give you massages, mini manicures and pedicures and more.

Is this what Bermudians consider “fashion”. Its time to raise the bars. Some of these outfits do not look comfortable. They are horrible and so not appealing for women.
Please do not misunderstand…Bermudians are very fashionable people…but this designer fellow that made the “clothes”..not so much. I agree that some of the outfits look completly hedious. Maybe he was inspired by when “back in the day” they made their clothes out of potatoe sack bags. U never know.
