Free CableVision Channels For Holiday

December 8, 2011

Bermuda CableVision is renewing its holiday tradition of offering customers the gift of free television viewing during the holidays.

Starting at 8am on Saturday, December 17 until 8am on January 3, 2012, all CableVision subscribers will be able to tune in to the full range of CableVision channels, with the exception of HDTV and Pay-Per-View, at no additional cost.

This means customers will have access to the MaxPack Tier, with SportsMax and Fox Soccer Plus, and all Premium Tiers, including HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, TMC and Starz.

CableVision General Manager, Terry Roberson, explains: “This is the time of year when we like to show our customers our heartfelt appreciation for their business during the year. The CableVision Holiday Free Preview is a great opportunity for everyone to come together with family and friends and enjoy a huge selection of exciting TV.

“We invite our viewers to enjoy the many options that will be available throughout the holidays, including sports programming, movies, special events and concerts and more.

“Parents should remember to use the parental control options that come built into their home communications terminal. Happy viewing to all and best wishes from all of us at CableVision.”

Instructions for use of parental control options can be found on CableVision’s website or in the brochure available at the company’s Customer Care Centre in Washington Mall.

  3. Moojun says:

Why is it that when you tune in to the HD Fox Soccer channel to enjoy a major Premiership game (which is advertised on the guide) you get the intro but then just before kick-off it cuts away to Bass Fishing or some other ‘sport’ from the Deep South? Where’s my soccer!?!

I think they should probably change the name of the channel!

  4. Rapp Bermy!! says:

These r the channels that Bermuda should have, BBC News that would change for CNN, BBC three, BBC One, BBC Parliament, Channel 40D, BBC Sports better football seens, Rugby, Cricket n not american football, Dave tv, iTV 1, iTV 2 and with iTV 3 in the film channels.. like you would still have ya old channels but the ones that people dnt watch n agrees to change it into a British tv channel, like BBC iplayer u can watch some really good shows n u can watch football/mach of the day, wit the american channels its american football and in bermy we dnt play that so y would it be on r tv but in the U.K its more sports we play so we can understand it n kno the tru meaning, with U.K tv channels, u will learn so much n every1 goes skool n knos more n their r gona wana learn more put their mind on wat they wana be wen they grow up n not goin round the street beatin up people, n anther thin is if you get the U.K channels the Christmas would feel longer cuz when Christmas is over in the U.K they r still showin all the Christmas shows still, but sines we have the u.s channels it not al that cuz their Christmas is thanksgiving n once Christmas is over n u r like i spent al these money n Christmas is over already, CV, they never leave the Christmas shows on till like early Jan they do it in the U.k, change al them u.s news channels n give us BBC news channels, change u.k cops n give us bbc cops, we drive on the same side so the British UK so it would make more since to us Bermudians, British movies u would luv them its the old British style like tea time n stuff, n i think its sad thats its a lot of good films that never made it holleywood.. i wana see if people agree with this, they say we r British there for we most do it.. see thats what is wrong wit us Bermudians we all r thinking we r americans, if we change the channel our laws might be lied back cuz Europe is much chill wit their laws for cannabis.. British humour is much better then american humour!!!!
american tv is to much for such a small island we never had guns back then but now we do cuz we r watchin u.s tv there for we feel left out but wit UK tv its no guns but they would bring a bat lol, see n this is when we get into culture.. n remember Martin Luther King is not Bermy’s hero we r not African-american.. come on Bermuda fight the system!! :} go to BBC iplayer tv home EastEnaders, Water loo Raod, River City n more r really good show, Made In Chelsea, Hollyoaks is good!!!!

    • Notorious says:

So nice now, but what about the ongoing problems with the channels I am not receiving.(Bill paid up to date too). How about some new year rebate reflected in my Jan.2012, bill or until your technicians get it sorted out.(up to this day still having black channels). Just ask your technicians that cover some of the western parishes.(figured the problem is not @ my apt, after insisting it was…..SMH!!).

  13. Gabbani says:

Sounds like you need a new TV Get rid of that old tube TV bye, and get yourself a FLAT SCREEN (LMAO)
