KFC Respond To BIU’s Boycott Call

April 13, 2012

[Updated] KFC Bermuda has responded to the BIU’s call for a boycott of their establishment, saying “that action will only serve to damage the employment prospects for KFC’s employees who the BIU purport to represent.”

Yesterday [Apr.12] BIU President Chris Furbert said, “If the agreement is not reinstated by 3pm today, then the BIU will encourage our entire membership, our friends, and members of the public to boycott KFC.”

“It is a sad day in the history of this country when an employer can unilaterally cancel an agreement after giving notice to modify the agreement.

“If this employer is allowed to get away with it, I believe every other employer will fall in line trying to do the exact same thing, and it makes a complete mockery of the industrial relations system in this country,” said Mr Furbert.

BIU members singing outside KFC last year when the dispute first arose:

A statement from KFC said they are “disappointed that rather than the BIU trying to work collaboratively with KFC as the social partner they claim to be, the BIU has instead chosen to resort to bully tactics which can serve no purpose other than to try to harm KFC’s business.

“Should the BIU be successful in encouraging a boycott of KFC, that action will only serve to damage the employment prospects for KFC’s employees who the BIU purport to represent.

“Despite declining sales in consecutive years and net losses last year, KFC is proud to have been able to stay in business and keep its predominately Bermudian workforce employed with competitive wages and benefits and without a single lay-off.

“There are, no doubt, former employees of other establishments who might wish they were as fortunate to have worked for as stable an employer as KFC has been so far. Needless to say, KFC’s continuing ability to remain in operation and secure stable jobs for our staff is dependent upon the continued support of our customers.

“We certainly hope that our customers will continue to treat themselves to the affordable, quality meals that our mostly Bermudian staff has provided to Bermuda for many years,” said KFC.

I heard Brotha Chris ordered a 6 month supply of buckets for the picket line before the island wide boycott memo went out! Don’t mess wif my Zingers Bye!!!

    • all clogged up says:

Has anyone noticed? KFC hire BERMUDIANS! I don’t eat there but I’m sure as hell gonna consider an KFC treat on weekends now.

    • Politely Pompous says:

Yeah-I was thinking that it would be funny if someone caught Bro. Chris sneaking out of KFC digging into a bucket after he made this RIDICULOUS suggestion-this will NEVER, EVER happen!!!

I know he has really lost his mind now. There is no way in God’s green earth that Bermudians will boycott KFC! The day that happens, expect the Apocalypse shortly thereafter….

    • Somebody's Momma says:

I am going to eat at Mr. Chicken. Bermudian owned family business.

      • Hmmmm says:

Go buy KFC, don’t let the leader Furbert get his claws on your money.

      • Politely Pompous says:

Is the Hamilton location of Mr.Chicken closing down? It appears that way because the premises are up for sale-I saw it listed online. It was in the commercial listings section of either Rego Sotheby’s or Bermuda Realty.

Maybe they’re trying to keep it under the radar but it seems clear that if the premises are for sale that the business presently there won’t be continuing. People should continue to go to KFC because it looks like we won’t have an alternative if Mr. Chicken closes, too.

      • knowPublic says:

Are you going because they are Bermudian owned, a family business, maybe they’re unionized, or do you like the chicken better? Personally I think they are both good. Hard not to go to KFC when you smell that chicken once you come out of your car at Par-la-Ville?

  2. jt says:

You mean the BIU has not been forthright in the information they have made public – that would be stunning.

    • Maddog says:

A trade union labour union or labor union  is an organization of workers that have banded together to achieve common goals such as better working conditions. The trade union, through its leadership, bargains with the employer on behalf of union members (rank and file members) and negotiates labour contracts (collective bargaining) with employers. The most common, but by no means only, purpose of these organisations is “maintaining or improving the conditions of their employment”.[1]
This may include the negotiation of wages, work rules, complaint procedures, rules governing hiring, firing and promotion of workers, benefits, workplace safety and policies. The agreements negotiated by the union leaders are binding on the rank and file members and the employer and in some cases on other non-member workers.

      • The nitty gritty says:

What would we do without you maddawg? someone to look up the dictionary meaning of racism and now what a trade union is!! We knew what a trade union was 30 years ago when you were still in your pram, and we knew what it did with all the dues then too, ask
        Raymond Russell.

  3. Mayan says:

KFC is correct. This would do more harm than good to the employees. We can’t have KFC close down. If it does, expect all hell to break loose as locals go crazy for their grease fix.

Unemployment, rising crime, housing issues-all that we can take in our stride. Close down KFC and wait for the riots to break out!

  4. KFC ALL DAY ERRY DAY! says:

I’m in a tough position right now, cuz I LOVE KFC but am also a member of the BIU.

WHAT THE HECK AM I SUPPOSED TO DO! I want to boycott them with everyone else, but that would mean NO DELICIOUS CHICKEN 4 ME!

To Be perfectly frank, I don’t really care how this turns out as LONG as KFC stays open! I’ll be a scab, a mole, whatever bie, just DONT TAKE AWAY MY KFC!!!!

    and thats REAL TALK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    #KFC4LifeTilTheApocalypse

    • United says:

Here’s an idea. You all picket outside KFC and when you get hungry go inside for some chicken.

  5. Paul says:

Oh, is Chris throwing his toys out of his pram again, then? Bless……….

  6. Joonya says:

Thanks Bro Chris, you’ve just increased the weekend’s sales.
Maybe this is your ploy and your just trying to help management’s bottom line for once. Hmmmmm….. you sneaky f****..

  7. Black Watch Pass says:

Chris: You can mess wiff de busses, mess wiff de ferries, hotels or whatever. But don’t mess wiff my KFC om tellin you naw!!

    You wanna see industrial action?

    Bye MESS-OFF bye!

    • Bemused One says:

That’s right….you want to see some industrial action? How about this:

      NO CHICKEN-NO PEACE!

I’m heading straight down there to buy myself a 9 piece just for spite…

    • Somebody's Momma says:

You should try Mr. Chicken, it tastes better anyway.

  8. Steve says:

Another reason why this economy is going down the toilet. I differ to say that they are not operating in the interests of the employees of KFC in this instance, more the ego of their intrepid leader.

  9. star man says:

The PLP, I mean the BIU (same thing) never met a dumb idea they didn’t like.

  10. reality check says:

    i aint boycottin nothin!

  11. Wandering says:

BIU Members who are not for this action put forth by Chris Furbert and Glenn (mini Chris) – should ask that their membership dues be put towards a Charity. Why as a Union would they want to take action such as this. Just as the idea/thought occurred to EBrown to stick things to the exempt companies, now Chris and his gang are following suit. Could it be because the Management doesn’t look like him

    • Keepin' it Real...4Real! says:

maybe we should BAN CF an his followers from ever entering KFC again!!!
Go twenty yards up the hill to Mr. Chicken….(nothin against the family business i also patronize)
definately a case of “cuttin’ ya nose off despite yur face”.

  12. amen says:

Random but I’d like to say thank you Bernews for always allowing people to speak their mind freely. This is why you will always be #1.

  13. Triangle Drifter says:

Looks like KFC jobs will be added to the long list of jobs that have disappeared in last few years.

Way to go BIU/PLP. Thats really showing them who is boss.

  14. Don't get it says:

I hope more companies do take the same action, what a change it would be to start running businesses properly, rather than be dictated to. I do not eat at KFC, but I promise to go and support them now. This is the first positive article in FOREVER!!!

  15. 1minute says:

My wife ain’t in the Union… I’ll send her in…

  16. Serious Though says:

Stop looking for solutions to problems and start looking for the right path

  17. bon ami says:

This will no doubt be as effective as the boycot they came out with a few years back when they had a beef with Cablevision and asked all their members to turn in their boxes.

I think that a total number of 3 boxes were returned . What’s most irritating is not that Bermudians will not do without their ‘things’ and ‘stuff’ to support a labour protest , it’s that they’ll continue to way overpay on goods and services that are not worth it in the first place. This only reinforces the providers mindset that their pricepoint is acceptable .

  18. Dee says:

I hear that KFC was extra busy today at lunchtime!!!

    • Liars! says:

      its friday dumba$$

      • g-gurl says:

YEA !! Used to be my PAY DAY TREAT YEARS AGO !!!!

      • Bemused One says:

It wasn’t just that it was a Friday-it was extra, extra busy. My friend works there and it was really busy today. In all seriousness, it may not have been people trying to make a point…it may just have been that all this talk about KFC made some people who hadn’t had it in a while get a craving for it. It’s like this was free advertising for KFC because this is how advertising works-putting the idea in someone’s head to buy something they may not intended on buying…

      • amen says:

Is calling that person a dumb-a really necessary? By the way that doesn’t mean anything, KFC is NOT always busy on a Friday. Jerk.

  19. Ticket 288 says:

I’m just eating my KFC takeaway order… Yumm. Haven’t eaten KFC for ages, but when Chris said “don’t go” I of course went because he aint telling me what to do! I just want to say that I had EXCELLENT service from PLEASANT people – both the lady that took my money and the one that served me my food. Nobody forced me to say anything, they were just POLITE and gracious. Maybe they’re sending Chris a message too…! Thanks for the good service.

  20. specialgirl4you says:

Many seem not to know the historical role and function of Unions, based upon the quality of the comments. Unions are there to protect the “Rights of Workers”, worldwide. Any employer that does not want to follow the “Collective Bargaining Agreement” or “Employment Laws of Bermuda”, needs to be questioned? KFC seems to be the first employer who does not want to follow such laws and one would need to ask why? What makes them so different? If they cared for their staff they would do all they can to ensure that their rights are protected. Years have gone into fighting for such laws to improve the working conditions for the average workers. This issue is about “Workers Rights”, and so this means we must all take the responsibility to support he workers. Yes! this may mean no KFC, but one can live without it anyway. No gains in Labour laws were made without protest, personal sacrifice and struggle. This issue is not about Mr. Furbert, it is about “Workers Rights”. SO we must look at the bigger picture. The work conditions under which KFC wants person to perform under take us back almost 30 years or more….KFC must come better than this. So support the workers, I will…..

    • Liars! says:

Specialgirl4you…..umm umm..or Lavern or who ever you are…….your stupid perspective just licks! You are sooo dam ignorant, l cant even say the words for how stupid you think…..you think you speak for anyone? umm uummm NOOOO!
You ideas are racist…….your all about mayhem……your motives are not clear neither, why are you always defending the stupid PLP,? because they are black?
Black, white, yellow….run the dam country right and stop LYING to everyone….enough of the smoke and mirrors, your not as smart as you think you are Laverne or who ever you are……your views suck, your attitude sucks and you do nothing but spread hatred for you beloved PLP s&^t government that cant even wipe their own a$&’s.

Have you seen the size of these in power lately, maybe your one of them?

    • Familiar says:

@specialgirl4you… Historically speaking, the BIU did a great deal of good for Bermuda and the workers, and there are instances where unions do well when speaking up for the workers.

Sadly, all the good the BIU did do in the past is forgotten in light of the mismanagement and thug tactics that they have been using for a good many years now.

A boycott would not help these workers, if anything a boycott would have them lose their jobs.

The BIU needs what it’s needed for the last 20 years, and that is to wise up. They need to approach situations realistically and learn to compromise where warranted. As of yet, the word compromise is not in the BIU handbook.

      • Argosy says:

That’s because it has 3 sylables! Two too many…..

      • Keepin' it Real...4Real! says:

I really dont think any of you know why a “Union” was first conceived and im not talking about Bdas Union…Unions were formed because of the sub human conditions that employers were forcing employees to work under….todays unions world wide have also become corrupt….our human rights commission has that under control….so now we jus b!tch about any little thing ….if i opened a business , you would be interveiwed an shown the layout and standards required by ME THE OWNER….if you agreed to work for me then fine ..off we go…if you find discrepancies in my hand book about how I run MY Business i dont even want to hear them coz there is NO NEGOCIATIONS …and you may freely walk out of my office looking for the job that best suits YOUR lifestyle….where do we get the impression that running a business was to let the employees decide on what they want to do …..BASIC bottom line TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT….it would be your decision not mine .

    • Just saying says:

Again another attempt to disguise the issue at hand. Any employer not abiding by the Employment Laws of Bermuda would be subject to the law. This issue has nothing to do with the employement law and everything to do with the agreement or lack thereof. The BIU has historically depended on the clause that says the agreement shall remain into effect until notice of change or termination is given by either party. PLease note EITHER party, which is to say the employer or the BIU. An agreement is a set of terms and conditions under which both parties agree to operate. If the employer determines that the agreement is no longer supportable they would likely issue a notice for change. However if the BIU refuses to accomodate changes regardless of the impact to the organisation/ business then they have a choice – either keep the agreement effective until the business collapses or issue notice of termination and hopefully get the attention of the BIU who now have no ability to hold out as the company is no longer held to the terms of the previous agreement. This tactic of the union has been successful as Mr. Furbert has said because no one has dared challenge the union in this manner. The reality of business today is the risk/fear of this type of reaction by the BIU is no longer the biggest threat as going totally out of business is more of a reality if the risk is not taken. Workers rights -killed GM in the US and numerous other large and small organisations the most recent has been AA going into bankruptcy. Only governments seem to have the abiity to just increase revenues or debt to accomodate ever increasing burden of a lot of those rights. If a half a loaf is not better than no loaf or to be clear if unemployment is better than employment with reduced terms/rights then you can support this call to boycott.

      • distracted MUCH says:

Amazing! How eagerly we chose to give up someones else rights until you intern have your rights (fought for buy our forefathers) taken away. Soon we might as well be outright slaves (slave to the boss) want health care no. , want time off to have your child no. want to be able to make more then enough then just pay bills and eat no. want safety at the workplace no. Ha 3rd world hear we come because they ARE happy their working conditions (sarcasm) our places of work are turning to turn us into. People be proud of the job you can do and refuse to be a beggar with your hand out “please give me a job” syndrome that’s going around. With out us (consumers) their is no money to buy and reliance on Gov increases. so the more people they let go, to keep the bosses mill/ bill per yer profit will backfire as their will be less to feed the machine (the little people). Jobs may go to other country’s but greed will take down any system for who can you sell to if no one can afford to buy. Buy the way KFC has been making record profits per year a because they don’t beat last years by 100k don’t mean they can cry poor.

        • knowPublic says:

Dude – with that kind of thinking, you might qualify for Chris Furberts job when he decides to join the world poker tour.

        • The nitty gritty says:

They take a chicken and keep on lickin.
..or is that lickin and tickin?
Anyrate you who think we all need an education in unions might check this out.
Where has all the money gone over all these years that has been paid in? and why don’t you know?
Where are the audited financials year after year?
Bermuda would be the last country where the workers are poorly treated! Gawd you lot,
anyone actually been to 80 other countries where the work conditions are $2 a day 12 hours and downright dangerous with 13 yr olds employed?
I see you can get a job painting railings for $1,000 a week and 35 hours max..poor babies.
Yer all Peter Pan living in Alice in Wonderland.

    • Bemused One says:

Are you listening to yourself? So we should let KFC close just to make a point? Then these very same workers will be out of a job and without the means to support their families. What sense does that make? Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face!

      • United says:

So, let me see if your thinking is clear. Boycott KFC, in which case they may be forced to close because of lack of business and if KFC closes they’ll be the evil ones? Hmmm, you smoking again?

        • Keepin' it Real...4Real! says:

NAH!! he aint smokin’…smokin’ makes you REASONABLE…it’s that Alcohol that fuels that fire!

    • Barracuda says:

you are still the ignorant minority troll.

    • knowPublic says:

@specialgirl4you are you really serious?! You want the employer to always abide by all the rules but at the same time you support the BIU in what it has done????? REALLY? The laws state that they must file their financial statements annually, yet they were something like 11 or 12 YEARS behind. They have in recent years had marches without providing adequate notice as required by law. The have called strikes without adequate notice, strikes to support drunk ferry drivers, drunk and high bus drivers and called SEVERAL meetings during working hours that have affected public transportation and other services. You would be better off keeping quiet instead of trying to defend them. Maybe you should be concentrate on finding out where is the union workers money has gone? Why is there no more CO-OP supermarket? How is the Members credit union doing? Why can’t they run their own movie theatre? Surely they have a great pool of union talent to pick from that know how to run businesses? You really are SPECIAL if you are defending the Bro Chris ,,,or you are either family or on the payroll.

  21. Joonya says:

Furbert, Brown, Burch, Commissiong why dont you all go buy your own island in the Pacific and beat each other up on how to run it, and leave us here to run ours. We’ll all be better off!

    • Liars! says:

you forgot Cox, Horton and especially Burgess!

      • Argosy says:

Why don’t they simply buy KFC?

        Run it like the Co-Op….

        • Mayan says:

I remember Co-Op. You had to blow the dust off the packages just to see the price sticker.

I once bought something from there, opened it and it was bad. I looked at the expiry date on the package and it had expired FIVE years previously. It’s true-hand on Bible, I swear!

    • Keepin' it Real...4Real! says:

BERMUDA!!! is what they are after Joonya …thats why they are blinding their loyalists everyday…and you all cant see whats going on because….nah it dont even make sense wasting time commenting to you….it’s about self preservation now trust me.

      AMEN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  22. Pastor Syl says:

Thank you all for the best laugh at the current political mish-mash that I have had in a long time! I don’t eat at KFC because, although I love the taste, I love my arteries too, but I may just go and get one of their spicy meals tonight.

I used to be very supportive of the union and the union ideals of fair play for workers, but over the last few years, some decisions have been made which smack more of bully-boy tactics than fair play. NOT the way to garner public support.

    • LaVerne Furbert says:

Who is surprised at Pastor Syl’s comments. She’s reallly got a bee in her bonnet and I wonder why. She used to support the PLP, now she doesn’t. She used to support the BIU, now she doesn’t.

I hope she enjoys her KFC but I wouldn’t want her arteries to be affected.

      • Pastor Syl says:

LaVerne, that hornet you got buzzing really drowns out my bee.

You don’t have to wonder why I no longer support the PLP or the BIU. I have been quite vocal about it – or are you just proving something I have wondered about for a while – you don’t read or maybe don’t understand the comments made, you just throw zingers whenever you see certain names.

      • Face the Nation says:

Hey Lavern , Mr.Chicken used to be in the Union building . I heard nobody supported them there so they moved next to KFC . So much for united we stand , Oh and what about Co-Op .

      • Keepin' it Real...4Real! says:

I guess Pastor Syl’s finally saw the Light…Lavern…lol

        • Maddog says:

Laverne you got her, pastor Syls this is a very sick woman her and her brother you people don’t no.

          • Barracuda says:

You can’t spell or string a sentence together.

          • Pastor Syl says:

@ Maddog: Please, PLEASE enlighten us. No innuendo, come straight out and say what you mean. I’m curious. I’m sure others are too. But you will need to come better than that vicious little tall tale about the state of my roof when you and reporter (sic) Laverne didn’t even know which house was mine.

      • pepper says:

So Lavern, you are concerned about pastor Syl’S arteries ? WE are concerned about your mental health…..

Like someone posted on Bernews one time: eat those feral chickens-open up a restaurant called ‘Barnyard Chicken.’ Their motto could be ‘Sinewy but delicious’! They could really keep costs down by using the feral chickens. It might take you all day to chew it, but the price won’t be beat!

  24. Sean Soares says:

Um got mine! Yum yum….bye faq dees fries taste well! Spacial Gurl you want some? Chris bye, got an extra zinga right hur for ya!

  25. Hmmm says:

todays words boys and girls is unilateral………Its funny they say that management make unilateral decisions, but the union make unilateral decisions all the time with their suprise strikes…….Furbert, if you are on the tourism committee now(Lord help us)…..I dear you tell the tourists not to eat at KFC…..I bet you will welcome thier money there, wont you?????? of course you will…….double standard guy your are….smh.

um, I think you’ve been brainwashed.

Take a history course in labor relations, and then look at this situation and you will soon see where the abuses lie. [For clarity: not here, except by Brother Chris]

    • The nitty gritty says:

Fight Fight Struggle Struggle, Oppressed workers!
You notice all the international businesses dont need unions nor do hundreds of other businesses. Why? Could it be they all just get on with it, the business at hand, be productive and take pride in excelling. With that comes success and the creation of a meritocracy. Self perpetuating conditions conducive to worker stability and contentment.
There are going to be those who will be better off standing behind mothers apron while she sticks up for your right to be late as often as you like, come to work stoned or steal from your boss with impunity. Better yet picket the airport at the height of tourist season, make the tourists walk across the causeway with their bags then spit on some for good measure. Hell don’t file audited financials for 10 years and crank out the wildcat strikes, walk outs and down tools to inconvenience half the population. Stop the busses over a drug issue and make parents go search for their kids all afternoon 3 days in a row! oh you guys please this is worse than waterboarding.

  28. Young voice says:

And what makes it worse is that it’s an overseas company doing this smh

    • Mad Dawg says:

Doing what? There is no overseas company involved.

  29. The Hell says:

Chris Furbert is the biggest idiot since George W Bush. He needs to put his brain in gear before opening his mouth. Asking for a boycott can severely back fire on his members…the staff at KFC…

DONT YOU DEAR FOR A SECOND THIN K YOUR JOB IS SAFE LOL!! You all are a bunch of BLANKS!! Don’t you know that every business on the island is watching this case underneath a microscope just to see if they can do the same thing??? All the union is asking, is for you greedy ‘blanks’ to give up eating from kfc for a lil while in order to save the downfall of the bargaining agreement ISLAND WIDE!! Are you greedy ‘blanks’ that stupid??? Wah ya dumb or something?? Go eat chicken from some place else for a few weeks or something DAMN, to perhaps save HUNDREDS from suffering the same fate as these loyal workers!! “BLANK!!” is that really to much to ask!!!??? Killin yourself with a knife and fork you are! So in fact the public’s lack of awareness has kept alot of people in a job at KFC for 40 years. Be grateful!

Again i repeat: Mmm all u ppl that support what kfc is doing, wait till it’s your job that decides to cancel the agreement and then do what ever they want to YOU!!!….(MEMO: ITS A RECESSION LOL!!!) DONT YOU DEAR FOR A SECOND THIN K YOUR JOB IS SAFE LOL!! If it is then “blank” you…. Because you obviously do not understand the struggle….wait till its your fam or close ones or even BETTER YET……YOU……. >;) <<<<<<<#Realtalk

    • Hmmmm says:

What are you on, wrong about overseas company, wrong about reasons for people
Nobody is losing their job at KFC.
The union is losing money hand over fist, it is an archaic and destructive organization. Bermuda will find innovation, drive and belief in itself once it has gone. Those in the union are just paying wages of the Furberts, so they can live the good life. Wake up and smell reality.

    • #Gotta be kiddn me... says:

@Young Voice. I have to agree with u on this one and as a member of a union I can empathize with the employees as I’m sure mine and many other greedy employers are watching this case with a microscope looking for a new way to take back all workers rights gained over the years.. Even if I don’t agree with all the tactics the BIU use I’m sure if this is allowed it can have a domino effect on all unionised jobs including mine..

      • Hmmmm says:

Employment Act in place to protect employees. The only persons sweating here are furberts for thir large paychecks you so happily provide.

  36. Yes says:

All this talk about chicken u buys makin me hungry um gonna get a bucket tomorrow cantwait

  37. Familiar says:

I’m wondering… has anyone heard anything out of any of the employees who work for KFC and how they feel about things? And I don’t mean what the BIU says they feel. I’d love to hear direct from them.

  38. Keepin' it Real...4Real! says:

Have You ever heard the sayin’….”Stand Up for your Rights and Fall Down for Your Ignorance”…?

    • Hmmmm says:

It is my right to choose to eat what and where I want. I won’t be a terrorist by trying to hold a business and its employees to ransom, by boycott or any other damaging action.

  39. Young voice says:

Hey!!!….. sir Keepin’ it Real…SHUT UP ya stupid freak! But in the mean time go choke on a chicken bone

    • Barracuda says:

I hear the baby crying, have you thrown all of your toys out of the crib again?
Talk to us again when you are a bit more mature and understand how the world works.

  40. Tank Rain says:

I have seen some ridiculous things in my day, this will certainly qualify to make the list. I mean really, with all going on today, this was the most pressing matter in Bermuda?

    Publicity wh%re?

  41. Yes says:

Have you ever heard the sayin KFC is finger lickin good ,what a bunch of dreamers on here .

  42. Steve says:

Stupid, stupid, stupid. Mr. Furbert, what will you do when KFC with more than 20,000 outlets worldwide say screw this we’re pulling out of Bermuda? What will you say to console those workers who lose their jobs?

    • Come correct says:

“I was not there, and KFC didn’t move!”

  43. YES MATE! says:

The only good thing that can come of this is the traffic will flow better on Queen Street when KFC closes down and no one double parks on the street. We should be thanking Chris Sherbert for this and praising his unparalleled wisdom and foresight instead of chanting your boy for being shortsighted and straight up iggrunt.
Speaking of Co-PLoP I think they should try again. Chris Sherbert in HR, LaWerne in advertising and public relations, cashier Spashulneedsgurl, Rowlf can do bank deposits and withdrawals, Kernal Beeurch in charge of security, keeping all those pesky expats and white people out of the shop, Paula Cog can do the books, but that means Rowlf’s responsibilities will be cut in half as there will be no deposits to make, only withdrawals but that leaves him time to stock the shelves with big family size cans of hatred. Can you imagine the Kool-aid aisle in the Co-PLoP shop? Every flavor of Kool_aid you can think of, even sh!t flavor! And free as well! De Docta will be the only doctor you’re allowed to see on the Co-PLoP healthcare plan. Patient:”Hey Docta it hurts when i go like this”
Docta Braan:”There is no corruption to speak of”
Patient:”I was talking about my elbow…..”
Docta Braan:”We had to deceive you”
Patient:”Ummm okay. But why does my elbow hurt?”
Docta Braan:”That’s a plantation question. Wanda send in the next blind sheep…I mean patient”

  44. WTF BDA says:

Seriously has anyone really thought this boycott out? If you boycott the very same people you are trying to protect will be out of a job due to reduced sales and at the end of the day the business owner will have to make a hard decision. So think Trade Unionist before you jump the gun as usual.

  45. What Next? says:

er…has anybody seen any of the EMPLOYEES boycotting and striking? I would have thought that they would have been in the front line if they had been so aggrieved at not having the BIU agreement in place. If KFC were smart, they would have a 50% Off Boycott sale while the picketters were outside…how long would that picket line be manned???
