Blackwatch Pass Road Closure On Saturday
The Ministry of Public Works has informed motorists of a road closure this Saturday [Dec 7] which will occur on Blackwatch Pass, Pembroke, from the junction of North Shore Road to the junction at Marsh Folly Road.
“The road closure is necessary to allow for the removal of overgrown trees along the cliff face to be carried out safely,” said a spokesperson.
“All traffic, including buses and pedestrians, will not be permitted to travel along Blackwatch Pass while this work takes place due to safety concerns.
“This road closure is effective from 7:30am until 4:00pm on Saturday [Dec 7]. If there is inclement weather on this day, the work will continue on the following weekend.
“The Ministry apologizes for any inconveniences caused by the road closure, and requests that motorists cooperate with the traffic control devices in this area.”
