Don’t those RFID tags on the windshields work anymore?
Sheesh, it can’t be that hard to see who passed the camera’s a few minutes either side of noon.
@ Family Man
So how exactly would the RFID tags work in this instance?
Isn’t the closest one on Harbour Road?
Also doesn’t TCD monitor them?
Just curious.
If a black Nissan Tiida went through the check there would be a record of it. That record should allow for the name, address, assessment number and contact info of whoever that car is licensed to or was last licensed to, to be looked up.
Your car’s colour, make and model are all part of the vehicle registration so it shouldn’t be difficult at all to do a search based on that.
But that assumes the system even makes a record and saves it rather than just flagging unlicensed vehicles as it occurs. Also assumes the system is still even functional.
Perhaps the driver of the vehicle had two glasses of wine and didn;t realise they struck somebody and LEFT them in the road…sad. No worries when the boys in blue catch them, their jail time will probably be quashed.
Perhaps the bike struck the car?
We don’t have G.E.T. cameras anymore.
Hit and run. Just check TCD records for the color, make and model. Can’t be many.
