Photo Set #2: Annual Bermuda Gombey Festival
Gombeys troupes across the island converged on the W. E. R. Joell Tennis Stadium last night [Sept 12], as the Department of Community and Cultural Affairs hosted the Gombey Festival. The event is held annually, with an aim to provide exposure to the folk art and traditions of the Bermudian Gombeys. We will have video coverage of the Festival later on, and in the meantime our first set of photos is here, and our second set is below.
