Bermuda Takes On Canada In Snooker Battle
Following up on last year’s Bermuda Select and Canada snooker match, played at the Warwick Workman’s Club, players from each country once again matched up against one another, this time in New York City at the New York Athletic Club during the International Snooker League annual fall tournament.
The match saw several well fought frames, with Canada eventually coming out on top.
Bermuda was represented by Steve Bremar, while Canada was represented by Tim Rodenbush and Rick MacKenzie. The format was a best of five series, with Mr. Bremar winning two frames against Mr. Rodenbush, but losing three frames to Mr. MacKenzie, allowing Canada to retain the cup.
Mr. Bremar also represented Bermuda during last year’s competition.
