Photos: Hamilton Parish Defeat North Village 1-0

In Premier Division football action over the weekend, the Dandy Town Hornets went out in front at the St. John’s Field, when Damon Ming converted from the penalty spot. Early in the second half Ayshaun Smith doubled the Dandy Town Hornets lead.

St. George’s Colts got themselves back into the game with a goal from Jarazinho Bassett and minutes later they found themselves level when Dominique Lambert found the back of the net. Smith would settle the game with his second goal earning the Dandy Town Hornets a 3 – 2 win over the St. George’s Colts.

At the Wellington Oval a first half goal from Ijahmon Mallory on Sunday [Jan 4], earned Hamilton Parish a 1-0 victory over the North Village Rams.

At the Southampton Oval, the Southampton Rangers got a 70th minute goal from Jesse Seymour as they defeated the PHC Zebras 1 – 0 throwing the league wide open.

After a scoreless first half at the Somerset Cricket Club, the Somerset Trojans got a lone strike from Jaz Ratteray-Smith as they defeated the newly crowned Friendship Trophy Champions Robin Hood.
