39 Year Old Denies Assaulting Man & Woman
Appearing in Magistrates Court today [Mar 17], a 39 year old man denied possessing a machete, and also denied assaulting a man and a woman.
Gerome Thomas pleaded not guilty to unlawfully possessing a bladed article, allegedly a machete, on Robert’s Avenue in Devonshire on 10th October 2014.
He also pleaded not guilty to, on the same day, wilfully and unlawfully causing over $790 worth of damage to a motorcycle; and unlawfully assaulting a man and a woman.
Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo set trial for early June and granted bail at $3,000, and said that Mr Thomas must have no contact with either of the two complainants.
