Local Business To Celebrate National Wing Day
On July 29, National Chicken Wing Day will be celebrated around the world, with Bermuda’s own Wild Wing Wednesday set to leverage the occasion in order to give back to the community.
The restaurant, which officially opened for business in November 2014 under the guidance of Dakia O’Brien, known for her Dae N Night Catering business, will be donating pans of food to The Eliza Doolittle Society.
In addition, they will have a canned food drive and are asking all of their customers to donate canned foods; in return, the business will enter the customer’s name into a draw for a free lunch that day.
As added incentive, the business will be selling $1 chicken wings on the day, a marked discount from their regular priced wings.
With Ms. O’Brien promising “lots of surprises in store for the day,” Wild Wing Wednesday will be open from 11am to 3pm on July 29.
