September’s Klout Social Media Rankings

The temperatures may be rising from all the summer heat, but Bermuda’s Klout scores are falling.

For the third straight month there was a decline in the Bermuda Klout Index.

The average top 50 score has fallen from 66.7 in June to 64.1 in September. One possible answer is that people have been taking their summer holidays and just are not posting as much to social media.

The cut-off point this month was a score of 60 — There hasn’t been a score in the 50s make the list since December 2014.

Collie Buddz tied Heather Nova for second while former WWE champ and FOX commentator John Layfield remains number one.

Even though Premier Michael Dunkley’s scored dropped two points, he remains tied for fourth with Bernews and myself.

New entries: Maureen Callanhan, Jeremy Deacon, Qian Dickson. Dropping out: DJ Genie, Forever Bermuda, Louis Galipeau, Jonathan Starling, Antwan Albouy

All scores were recorded on September 5, 2015.

Klout attempts to quantify a person or business social media influence through a variety of platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, among others. The scores run from one to 100 with 40 being average.
