Court: 29-Year-Old Denies Theft & Drug Charges
Appearing in Magistrates Court this morning [March 7], a 29-year-old man was granted bail after denying charges alleging he stole from a home and possessed drugs.
John O’Connor pleaded not guilty to possessing cannabis and cocaine in Devonshire on 16th May 2015. He also denied trespassing, on 14th December 2015, a residence in Sousa Estate and stealing cash, jewelry, and electronic items to a total value exceeding $16,600.
Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo set a mention date of 7th April and on the two drugs charges, the Magistrate granted O’Connor $3,000 bail with one surety. On the theft charge, the Magistrate granted bail at $10,000 with one surety.
