Photos: CedarBridge Academy Holds Career Fair
CedarBridge Academy held its annual Vocational Career Fair today [Apr 22] in the school’s gymnasium, with a theme of ‘Own Your Future.’
A spokesperson previously said, “The format for the Vocational Career Fair will allow students to explore career aspirations and assess their life-planning skills. It will also provide them with the invaluable opportunity to connect with potential mentors, internship possibilities, and work experiences related to their career goals.
“All CedarBridge Academy teachers are encouraged to heighten the importance of this career fair to all students, to encourage them to ask as many questions as possible, to speak well, and to talk to possible future employers with confidence.”

Tanya Simmons, the organizer of the vocational fair, said, “There are a few organizations that are open to accepting resumes for summer employment opportunities, therefore I would also encourage teachers to instruct students to have resumes on hand tomorrow morning.”
“Participating vendors include Alpha Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, BELCO/ Ascendant Group, Bermuda Fire and Rescue Services, Bermuda General Agency Limited, Bermuda Government Post Office, Bermuda Hospitality Institute, Grotto Bay Beach Resort, Bermuda Police Service, Corporation of Hamilton, Bermuda Small Business Development Corporation, Brandit Bermuda & Cutting Edge Painting, Continental Motors Ltd, Creative Touch Home Preschool, Compu-CAD Training & Services Limited, and the Department of Corrections.
“Additional vendors include BTC & Digicel Bermuda, Ettrick Animal Hospital, Fairmont Southampton, H.M. Customs, Impressions Hair/Nail & Barber Artistry, Maxilious Salon, Mid Ocean Club, Ministry of Public Works, Department of Parks, Noble Automotive, Reading Clinic, Royal Gazette, Smiles Inc, The Marketplace Limited, and Tomorrow’s Voices.”
