Charitable Song Gets “Overwhelming Response”
Coinciding with April being marked as Child Abuse Prevention Month, a song called ‘The Promise’ — performed by Gita Blakeney-Saltus and Preston Swan — was recently released, receiving an “overwhelming response” in its mission to benefit charity.
Sheelagh Cooper said, “The song ‘The Promise’ has received an overwhelming response this past week as it was played on most of the island’s radio stations.
“We launched it now because this is Child Abuse Prevention Month and the song makes a promise to love and nurture and protect our children.
“The song was written for the coalition for the protection of children and beautifully sung by Gita Blakeney-Saltus and Preston Swan. It was arranged and recorded by John Woolridge.”
The full song is available now for purchase and a brief sample is below:
“We have had lots of inquiries from people wanting to buy copies of it. We are pleased to announce that it is now available on iTunes, Amazon and CD Baby.
“The profit from the sales of the song will be split between Pathways Bermuda and The Coalition For The Protection Of Children. The song is also on both organization’s websites.”
To purchase the song, visit iTunes, Amazon, or CD Baby.
