Sunday August 7th: “Good News” Spotlight

Bermuda’s elite athletes representing the island at the 2016 Olympic Games, Reggie Lambe scoring in his debut for Carlisle United, and fitness class Fierce Funk Fitness raising $2,100 for the Chewstick Foundation were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.

In other good news, 100-year-old driver Brownlow Place was recognised by Colonial, Validus awarded its scholarship to Kyra Hodsoll, Mariangela Bucci received the Conyers Dill & Pearman legal scholarship, and 11-year-old Terron Webb placed as first runner up in a Calypso competition in St. Kitts.
