18th Century Family Christmas In St. David’s
The St. David’s Island Historical Society is getting set to present ‘An 18th Century Family Christmas‘ at Carter House and the Settlers Dwelling on Sunday, November 27 from 4.00pm through 7.00pm.
The event poster says, “Come one come all and enjoy the true spirit of Christmas as it used to be.
“Father Christmas will be there with gifts for the kids. Carter House will be decorated in 18th century style [by Ronnie Chameau and Deana Smith] with candle light, warm fires and local Christmas fare. The evening is about giving, hospitality, and seasonal entertainment.
“The event is free to attend, with donations appreciated. We have a new product perfect for Christmas! A 1964 Bermuda Crown mounted in a slice of 400 year old Bermuda Cedar with a history of our Crest, and Quo Fata Ferunt.”
