Driver Crashes Into Utility Pole On South Road
A 28-year-woman was taken to hospital following a collision on South Road in Warwick yesterday morning.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 7am Monday, January 9th police and first responders attended a reported single vehicle car crash on South Road in Warwick, near the junction with Cobbs Hill Road.
“It appears that the driver, believed to be a 28 year old Pembroke woman, struck a utility pole.
“She was transported via ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment of a hip injury and later discharged.
“Both the car and utility pole were damaged.
“Inquiries continue and any witnesses should contact the main police telephone number 295-0011.”
