Earth Hour Organizers Thank 2016 Sponsors
The countdown to Earth Hour 2017 has begun, with the organizers thanking the sponsors that supported the event in 2016.
A spokesperson said, “Several prestigious organizations stepped forward to help us bring a message of global sustainability to Bermuda.
“Their financial support meant Earth Hour costs were covered and any extra funds went into Greeenrock’s ‘Changing the Mindset’ fund.
“This supports our environmental education programmes and allows us to be advocates for Bermuda on issues of climate change, marine sustainability, energy policy and general sustainability issues overall. It also helps us with essential administration costs.
