Court: Man Charged With Attempted Murder

Appearing in Magistrates Court this morning [May 4], a 22-year-old man was charged with attempted murder and firearm offences.

22-year-old Gavaska Lodge-Bascome was not required to enter a plea as the matter must go to the Supreme Court.

He was charged with attempted murder, having a firearm, and unlawfully handling a firearm while committing an unlawful offence.

The charges all relate to an alleged incident in Pembroke on Monday, May, 1st, 2017.

Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo remanded him into custody until the Monthly Arraignment Session in June.
