Woman Transferred From ICU To General Ward
The 29-year-old woman believed to be the driver in the fatal car crash that claimed the life of 30-year-old Rakai Augustus had been transferred from the ICU to a general ward.
A police spokesperson said, “At last check earlier this morning [November 2nd] the injured 29-year-old woman said to be from Warwick and believed to be the driver in the fatal car crash that claimed the life of 30-year-old Rakai Augustus had been transferred from the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit to a general ward in stable condition.
“The investigation continues and any witnesses that have not yet come forward regarding the fatal crash around 11:40pm Saturday, October 28th in the Wellington Street, York Street St. George’s area between Rose Hill Street and Fort George Hill are urged to contact the Roads Policing Unit on 247-1788.”
