27-Year-Old Woman Arrested After Car Crash
A 27-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving following a car crash in Warwick.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 3:30am Saturday, February 2nd police officers were dispatched to a reported single vehicle car crash on South Road in Warwick near the junction with Warwick Lane.
“The car involved was found damaged and unoccupied after the driver struck a wooden fence in the vicinity of Astwood Park.
“A 27-year-old Warwick woman, believed to be the driver at the time of the crash, was later arrested on suspicion of impaired driving. She was apparently unhurt.
“Inquiries continue and any witnesses are encouraged to contact the main police telephone number 295-0011.”
