Leah Smith Published In NYU Stern Magazine
An essay by Bermudian student and football player Leah Smith titled ‘Concluding Concussions’ has been published in NYU Stern Student Voices after being selected as one of the top 10 essays from her Stern freshman entry class.
The essay, which centers around solutions for head trauma in football, was published in ‘The Call for Corporate Action: NYU Stern Student Voices, Vol. 6 Spring 2019,’ which is a “collection of the best student papers from NYU Stern undergraduate course, “Business and Its Publics.”
Ms. Smith, a High Honours graduate of IMG Academy, was selected as the 2017 Robert Clements Scholar by the Chubb Charitable Foundation, giving her an academic scholarship to attend NYU Stern where she is studying Actuarial Science; to date, she has achieved a 3.6 cumulative GPA.
