Lewis Wins 4 Medals In Canadian Championships
Jessica Lewis competed in the 2019 Canadian Track & Field Championships in Montreal, claiming four medals, including two golds.
Lewis won the T34-53-54 women’s 200m race gold medal with a time of 33.31, and also claimed the T34-52-53 Women’s 100m gold medal in a time of 16.75.
Lewis also won a bronze medal when she finished third in the T34-53 Women’s 400m clocking 1:03.99 and picked up her second bronze in the T53-54 Women’s 800m when she crossed the line in a time of 2:03.18.
The Bermudian sprinter said, “The last few days here in Montreal brought some awesome racing at the 2019 Canadian Track and Field Championships! I accomplished the goals Coach Curtis and I set out for this meet and so glad to come away with some of the best tactical races I’ve done.
“Proud to also come away with 2 firsts [100m & 200m] and 2 thirds [400m & 800m]. Thank you Athletics Canada and Montreal for putting on another great nationals!”
