Rider Injured In North Shore Road Collision
The rider of a rental scooter was injured yesterday [Sept 9] when he was involved in a two-vehicle collision that occurred on North Shore Road in Devonshire near the junction with The Glebe Road.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 6:45am Monday, September 9th a reported two vehicle collision occurred on North Shore Road in Devonshire near the junction with The Glebe Road.
“It appears that a car was being driven along The Glebe Road and a rental scooter was being ridden along North Shore Road when the vehicles collided on North Shore Road.
“The rider of the rental scooter, said to be a 36-year-old male UK contract worker, was hurt.
“However, his injuries were not believed to be serious.
“The driver of the car, said to be a 47-year-old Pembroke man, was not injured – but both vehicles involved were damaged.
“Temporary traffic diversions were in effect in the area while inquiries were conducted.
