Police Appeal: Help Locate 14-Year-Old [Located]
[Updated] The police have issued another appeal for assistance in locating 14-year-old Destiny Winters.
A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service is once again seeking the assistance of the public in locating 14-year-old Destiny Winters.
“The teen left her designated Government Care Facility Tuesday night [January 7th] after being located in the Fentons Drive, Pembroke area earlier that afternoon and returned to the facility.
“She is described as brown complexioned, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, of medium build with shoulder length curly hair.
“When last seen, Destiny was wearing a black rain jacket, black tights and black Nike sneakers.
“She is known to frequent locations in Pembroke including Fentons Drive, Parsons Road, St. Augustine Hill, Middletown, One Way Deepdale and The Glebe Road.
“So far efforts by police officers to locate her have been unsuccessful.
“Anyone with information on the whereabouts of 14-year-old Destiny Winters is asked to call police on 295-0011 or her designated Government Care Facility on 292-3699.”
Update 8.27pm: A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating 14-year-old Destiny Winters.
“She was found safe and well this evening [Wednesday, January 8th] on Middle Road in Devonshire and returned to her designated Government Care Facility.”
