Wild Edible Herbal Tour On June 14th
Wild Herbs N Plants of Bermuda is getting set to hold a ‘Wild Edible Herbal Tour’ on Sunday, June 14 at 2.00pm at Coopers Island, with two additional tours set for June 21.
A spokesperson said, “Our Wild Edible Herbal Tour will take place at Coopers Island starting at 2.00pm.
“The tour will be for 1.5 hours, including vegan tasters made from the wild edible plants that will be featured on the tour. On this tour you will learn how to identify the wild edible plants that grow in Bermuda, the health benefits, and tips on how to prepare the plants for food.
“All participants must register and make payment online in order to reserve their spaces. The cost is $35 per person.
“All persons must wear a mask and also we have limited our spaces to 20 persons.
“We also will be doing two tours the next Sunday, on Father’s Day. The first one – a Wild Edible Tour – will be at 11.00am with a cost of $35, and the other – a Wild Edible Herbal Tour, Cooking Demo and Tasters Event – will be held from 4.00pm to 6.00pm at a cost of $65, on Coopers Island.
“Limited people will be allowed to attend these events as well.”
