First Division Play-Off

Bermuda Under 19 Team Won by 14 Runs: Bermuda Under 19 Team 149/5 Cleveland County 135

The Bermuda Under 19 Team pulled off a victory at the White Hill Field.

Batting first, the Bermuda Under 19 Team scored 149/5 in their allotted 50 overs, Dominic Sabir was the top scorer with 55 not out, which came off 45 balls he hot 6 fours and 2 sixes. Q’Shai Darrell was the pick of the Cleveland County bowlers with figures of 4-0-24-2.

In reply, Cleveland County were bowled out for 135, opener Darrell was the top scorer with 28, while Logan Jones was the pick of the Bermuda Under 19 Team bowlers with figures of 3.3-0-29-4.

Western Stars Won by 8 Wickets: Somerset Bridge 91 Western Stars 94/2

Western Stars advanced to the next round of the First Division play-off’s following their 8 wicket victory over the Somerset Bridge at the White Hill Field.

Batting first, Somerset Bridge were bowled out for 91, Shawn Riley and Shane Hollis both scored 31, while Phillip Thomas was the pick of the Western Stars bowlers with figures of 4-1-10-5.

In reply, Western Stars scored 94/2, Seion Darrell was the top scorer with 47, while Samir Tavares was the pick of the Somerset Bridge bowlers with figures of 1-0-7-1.

Flatt’s Victoria Won 10 Wickets on [D/L method]: Devonshire Recreation Club 87/9 Flatt’s Victoria 48/0

Flatt’s Victoria won this rain-affected match by 10 wickets at the Wellington Oval.

Batting first, Devonshire Recreation Club scored 87/9 when rain halted play in the 17th over, Koshun Lightbourne-Simmons was the top scorer with 22, while Nelson Bascome was the pick of the Flatt’s Victoria bowlers with figures of 2.2-0-11-2.

In reply, Flatt’s had to chase a reduced score in a limited amount of overs, they would score 48/0 in 2.4 overs, with Regino Smith scoring 32 not out off 6 balls.

Premier Division

St. David’s Cricket Club Won by 5 Wickets [D/L method]: Willow Cuts 63 St. David’s Cricket Club 67/5

The Premier Division title race got thrown wide open at the White Hill Field.

Somerset Cricket Club defeated Southampton Rangers in the opener and then St, David’s Cricket Club defeated Willow Cuts by 5 wickets.

Batting first, Willow Cut were bowled out for 63, Joseph Basden was the top scorer with 27, Derrick Brangman was the pick of the St. David’s Cricket Club bowlers with figures of 3-0-12-3.

In reply, St. David’s Cricket Club scored 67/5, Kevin Hurdle was the top scorer with 26 not out, while Sergio Raynor bowled 0.3-0-4-2.

St. Georges Cricket Club Won by 7 Wickets [D/L method]: Bailey’s Bay 131/6 St. Georges Cricket Club 137/3

Rain also affected this match at the Wellington Oval as the St. Georges Cricket Club defeated Bailey’s Bay by 7 wickets.
