September 22, 2020

For the first time in Bermuda Football Association [BFA] history, two females have passed the FIFA AR Fitness Test, with Natasha Trott and Leanda Blackman both making the mark at the National Sports Center.

Chairman of the BFA Referees Committee Crenstant Williams said, “This is indeed a proud moment with these two young ladies making history; they have proven that they have what it takes.”

Anthony Francis said, “This is literally one of the most rewarding moments as an instructor.”

The congratulations did not just come from locals, with the head of the Jamaica Football Federation Referees Department and former FIFA referee Victor Stewart saying, “Progress! Hard work and commitment materializing. Forward to excellence!”

FIFA Referee Instructor Rohan Thobourne also said, “Awesome! Congratulations!”
