Video: Sunday Nov 29th ‘Good News’ Spotlight
While this week overall has not been the greatest — with a significant increase in Covid-19 cases — there is still plenty of good news to celebrate, including Walkers Bermuda welcoming Malacia Madden, the Bermuda Boys’ and Church Girls’ Brigades donating $3,000 to The Family Centre, Jonathan Marc Boden and Kayley Gibbons winning the Holiday Wrapping Paper Design Competition, and John Seymour being awarded a Bermuda Arts Council grant.
In additional good news, Kim Swan is offering free golf lessons to tourism workers, Daniel Augustus won the Moon Light Tour event in Florida, and Emma Harvey won the 100m in the Blue & White Meet.
Other good news stories included Clarien Bank donating 50 meals to The Family Centre in honour of CEO Ian Truran’s 50th birthday, BF&M continuing with its No Limits Sailing Programme, and Ruth Thomas receiving the Edgar Humann Award.
